Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by [hosting provider with address]. The servers are located in [country or region of the servers]. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

When you visit our website, technical access data is recorded automatically and stored in so-called server log files. This includes:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • page accessed
  • page visited before, if your browser transmits this information
  • information about the browser and operating system used

The data is processed in order to provide the website and to ensure secure and stable operation. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the functionality and security of our website.

The server log files are deleted after [retention period to be confirmed with the hosting provider]. They are only stored for longer where this is necessary to investigate specific security incidents.

Analytics and advertising services

We do not use any analytics or advertising services of our own to evaluate your usage behaviour.

The fonts used on our website are provided locally on our server. No connection to external font providers is established when the fonts are loaded.

The following information applies to the integration of Google Maps.

Google Maps

To show our location we use Google Maps, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Ireland.

The maps are only loaded after you have given your consent. Without your consent the map function remains deactivated.

When the maps are loaded, a connection to Google is established. In particular, your IP address and technical information about your browser and device are transmitted. Google may use cookies and similar technologies. If you are logged in to your Google account, information may be assigned to your account.

The integration is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Where information is stored on or read from your device and consent is required for this, this is additionally based on Section 25 (1) of the German TDDDG.

During use, personal data may also be processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA. Information on the safeguards used by Google can be found in Google’s information on international data transfers.

Further information on the purposes of processing, storage periods and your settings can be found in Google’s privacy policy and the information on the use of cookies.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Change consent” at the bottom of every page. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.

We store your decision as the value “alle” or “notwendige” in the local storage of your browser (localStorage), so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. The value is not transmitted to us and remains stored until you delete it in your browser settings. The legal basis is Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.
